Born today: Anahita Luzia

Birth Announcement



We are pleased to announce that today, 28 Feb 2005, at 7.49am New Zealand time, our daughter Anahita Luzia was born. Both mother and child are in very good health. The baby is 3.515 kg and measures 52 cm.





Anahita: This is the name of the ancient persian water and fertility goddess. It means the “the humid, strong, immaculate one, one of the ruling deities of the Persian Empire. She embodied the physical and metaphorical qualities of water, especially the fertilizing flow of water from the fountain in the stars.
